Fuerteventura, the European Caribbean! Once the pickup has been completed, the boat awaits us in Playa Blanca, a small town located in the south of Lanzarote and a connection to Fuerteventura. After a short journey of about 30 minutes, we get offboard in the town of Corralejo, Fuerteventura. Corralejo is one of the main tourist centres of the island of Fuerteventura and it has extensive beaches of fine sand and more than 2,600 hectares of the Corralejo Natural Park.
From Corralejo, we head to one of the best farms of Aloe Vera on the island and where we stop to get to know the benefits of this plant. Aloe Vera is cultivated as a decorative plant for medicinal uses, cosmetics and even as food in some countries. Given the climatology of the island of Fuerteventura, this plant has found a paradise spice where to develop its magnificent healing properties.
We continue towards the south passing the sacred mountain of Tindaya, place of adoration of the natives, located in the municipality of La Oliva to 6 km of the sea. The mountain of Tindaya is considered the most emblematic natural monument of the island of Fuerteventura. The geological interest of the mountain is characterized by the quality of the stone that constitutes it, a trachyte of grey-light brown color with a peculiar vein.
It has also a special historical and archaeological interest because of the number of rock engravings it houses, more than 300 engravings with foot forms or paedomorphy.
In Betancuria, the first capital of the island. Its name is due to the Norman Jean de Béthencourt who founded it in 1404, the valley of Betancuria was the first settlement of the island. We walk through its streets full of history and see its church. In the hermitage of Vega de Río Palmas is the image of Nuestra Señora de la Peña, patroness of Fuerteventura.
We continue by the Massif de Betancuria where we will enjoy its local fauna and its breath-taking views.
Our excursion continues through Pájara and Antigua, one of the most populated areas of the island before the conquest, to finally reach the Santa Inés Valley where you will have the possibility of having lunch *.
As a finishing touch, we stop at the dunes of Corralejo and its endless beaches that constitute one of the main attractions of the island of Fuerteventura, white sandy beaches and the largest dunes of the Canarian Archipelago. This is a must have and promotional postcard of Fuerteventura.
The beaches of Corralejo have become an attractive spot for water sports such as surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing and stand up paddle among many other water activities that people can enjoy during their stay in Fuerteventura. The beaches of Fuerteventura host the "Canarias Surf Film Festival", a cultural and sporting event linked to this sport.
Once in the port of Corralejo, we take the catamaran back to Lanzarote.
A unique chance to get to know Fuerteventura, probably the island with the best beaches in Europe and enjoy a guided tour of the north of Fuerteventura returning the same day to Lanzarote.

We took the all-day tour of Fuerteventura, which included visits to an Aloe Vera farm and one dedicated to goats' cheese, the old town of Betancuria, and various sights of natural beauty. Whatever one thinks of the healing properties of Aloe Vera, it is botanically a more interesting plant, and the owner's demonstration was fascinating. The goat farm was delightful. The natural scenery is impressive in its mountainous barrenness, and the Dutch guide delivered a fluent and interesting commentary in three languages. There was, however, one drawback too the experience: the lunch. Whereas this company's Volcanoes and Tours excursion featured an excellent lunch for only 8 euros, the 10 euro lunch on this tour was terrible, and was agreed to be terrible by everyone I spoke to: many people were complaining to each other. This was the one blot on an otherwise excellent experience, and I urge the company to remedy this problem as a matter of urgency.

First class customer service. We booked the full day trip to fuerteventura from playa Blanca, we were picked up at our designated point on time, our guide in the bus gave us all the information we needed and was very pleasant. We proceeded to collect other passengers before heading to the port. Unfortunately for us, my father wasn’t taken Iill and we were unable to continue with the tour. So I can’t give any feed back on what the tour was like. I can, however, comment on how amazing they were in helping with my father. Very understanding and very supportive. They helped us every step of the way and went above and beyond to get my father sorted. Whois fine now! Thank you again and when we return to lanzarote next year we will definitely be booking with you.

Nice tour. The tour guide was pretty cool. We stopped for eating at the suggested place and it was kinda bad... I mean the food was quite good but the service and the place were ‘loutish’. I would add some more locations where to stop, reducing the stop times ( sometimes there is little to see).

Great trip to Fuerteventura. Very informative with lots of stops except unfortunately the best viewpoint which was crowded with cars. But that's how it goes! Great little stop at the dunes which was just enough time to see and marvel at the beautiful beach. This trip was better than most I researched as it did include a lot of sightseeing rather than 3 hours in the dunes. The guide and driver were friendly hosts and very knowledgeable. Both English and German versions of the narrative were well done and easy to understand. Everything was clear and precise with no hassles. I would highly recommend your tour to anyone visiting Lanzarote. Thank you!!
